While Troy was in Kenya a couple weeks ago we spent some time as a family which we haven't been able to do since Christmas and we haven't been able to do ever while in Kenya. This was the first time my entire family had all been in Kenya at the same time. So while we were together we took a few days to get away for a little family vaca to the Kakemega rain forest. Yeah, Kenya has a rain forest, it was news to me. :) We also got to spend a day just Troy, Kasey and I with my mom and went to City Park where there are monkeys we could feed. It was a good couple weeks for the family until Troy had to leave to go back to San Diego for his internship.
Just being silly on vacation :)
On the way to Kakemega from Nairobi we passed the Equator :)
Troy did most of the feeding of the monkeys at City Park for this reason, the rest of us didn't like to become monkey jungle gyms.
