The Crossroads team then spent this afternoon doing "Bring the Light" in the Kiakaiko Village because they have such a heart for the school and the village as a whole.

Game time at Modoya!
enjoying the puppets that helped tell the bible story, you have to just love their smiling faces :)
Every rotation tried to help reinforce the bible verse of the day so the kids could memorize it. Today's verse was 2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God breathed and profitable for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness."
After teaching the kids a couple "American" games they taught us some Kenyan dancing games
the children receiving a "WOW" from the Crossroads team at the end of the VBS day
This is Nancy from Kiakaiko. We "brought the light" to her home
Nancy could not stop watching the ceiling as it was cut the light was put it her home. It was great to see her face light up as the house lit up. She was so excited to see the skylight come in even at her young age.
Nancy and some of her family with a couple of people from Crossroads.
From left to right we have Nancy (little Nancy's older half sister), Nancy's father Joseph and below him her brother Dominic, Bonnie, Joe and on his lap Nancy from Kiakaiko.
Thanks Courtney you inspire me today. Keep up the good work and you gotta love Nancy's smile.
